A battery-powered tamper is gentle on the operator and the environment.

With the BT 60 e battery-powered tamper, BOMAG has developed a particularly eco and operator-friendly vibratory tamper that sets new standards in its class. It has a 70 mm stroke and an advance rate of 20 m/min. The motor is fully encased for extra protection against shocks and dirt.

The BT 60 e battery-powered tamper bears the Made in Germany quality hallmark. In addition to being particularly powerful, it is also a worthwhile investment. Because the legal position is becoming more restrictive: CO2 and NOx emission limits are becoming stricter, and in Germany, for example, working in deep trenches is not permitted with a petrol tamper. In many cases, only electrical equipment may be used on the construction site.

Features may include:

Tough performer.
  • The BT 60 e tamper is ideally equipped for the tough requirements of everyday construction site work. Thanks to the all-round, rugged casing, the maintenance-free electric motor is well protected against shocks and dirt. Its robust design cuts repair costs.
Compaction anytime, anywhere.
  • The battery-powered tamper is in its element wherever strict emission limits apply and the impact on the operator and the environment has to be reduced to a minimum: in deep trenches, buildings and tunnels.
Plug and play.
  • The battery can be changed easily without tools. Even a quick battery swap in deep, narrow trenches is no problem. With the quick loader, the exchanged battery is fully charged again in under 2 hours.
Low running costs.
  • An electric drive runs maintenance free. This saves money.
Clean and future-proof.
  • With zero exhaust emissions, BOMAG's cordless tamper is not only clean but also future-proof - no matter how strict regulations become.
Performance without compromise.
  • The BOMAG BT 60 e achieves the same compaction power as a conventional tamper. The stroke of 70 mm and an advance rate of 20 m/min are outstanding values in this class.
