Two names you’ll hear about most in the agricultural world are Mahindra and Bad Boy. Our local favorite is the Bad Boy brand, which built its first mower in 2002. Bad Boy went on to win the "Product of the Year" award at the Lawn and Garden Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, and from there, their popularity soared.

While both brands have their merits when it comes to tractors, Bad Boy stands out as the better option. Let’s dive into the differences between these two companies' tractors to see why our customers choose Bad Boy overall.

Bad Boy Tractors

The Bad Boy tractors come in three main sizes: mid-size, compact, and subcompact. The mid-size tractors are the 4035CH and 4035H varieties. These are the biggest tractors on the market, and they have a powerful 35 HP rating. They feature a water-cooled, 4-wheel-drive diesel engine from the environmentally friendly A series. They have an exterior body that is made to withstand all weather conditions and are easy to use and maintain.

The small 4025H tractor shares a high lifting capacity of 2600 lbs. and a higher ground clearance despite having a lower power rating (25 HP). With a 3-range hydrostatic transmission, it can handle different tasks and terrains with ease.

The 3026H tractor is long and lean, with a sizable amount of ground clearance. It is quick at completing a variety of tasks and has a lifting capacity of 1400 lbs. The front loader gets a boost at the front of the machine from the power take-off. The sub-compact tractors have 4-wheel drive technology and a power range of 21–24 HP. The hydrostatic transmission and Tier 4-certified engine make it simple to maneuver and carry out tasks, despite having only low and medium ranges. They are made to last thanks to their heavy-duty cast iron rear housing, metal hooding, and the front axle.

In addition, Bad Boy offers a ton of implements for your tractor, so you can be sure that it can tackle whatever job you need done. Love Power Equipment even offers financing options, so you can get the tractor of your dreams!

Why Might You Choose Bad Boy Over Mahindra Tractors?

While both lines offer a wide range of options when it comes to tractors, there are a couple of notable ways that Bad Boy outranks, if not fully matches, Mahindra:

Same drive system. Both the Mahindra and Bad Boy tractors offer 4-wheel drive systems.

Same power take-off. Both Mahindra and Bad Boy have PTO, or power take-off, to make using rotatory tools that much easier.

Better lifting capacity. While most of the smaller Mahindra lines offer 1983 pounds of lifting capacity, Bad Boy’s 4025H tractors have a high lifting capacity of 2600 pounds, making them the most capable lifter of the smaller tractor models.
